WiiM Pro Offline After Firmware Update â How-To & Troubleshooting
âšī¸ If a WiiM Pro appears Offline in the WiiM Home app immediately after a firmware update, the device may still be completing the update or the app may have lost its connection to the device. In most cases, the issue can be resolved by removing the device from the WiiM Home app and adding it again.
đ Do not perform a factory reset unless instructed by Argus IT or WiiM Support. Forgetting the device in the WiiM Home app does not erase the device or its streaming configuration. A factory reset will require the device to be configured again from scratch.

| Soundtrack.io settings are missing | This is uncommon. Verify the streaming service configuration. If necessary, sign back into Soundtrack.io. |
| Device still offline after update | Restart the WiiM Pro and verify the network connection. If still unresolved, place a ticket with Argus IT. |
| Music will not play | Confirm the firmware update completed successfully and verify the device appears online in the WiiM Home app. Test Soundtrack.io again. |
đ Notes

-
It is normal for the custom device name to revert to the default after re-adding the device.
-
Firmware updates may temporarily cause the device to appear offline while the update is being installed.
