This article will help you trouble shoot some common issues with monitors, and hopeful help you address them.
The article twill be broken into two parts. Your monitor is working but having issues, and Your monitor is not working at all.
Monitor not working well.
If your monitor is not working well it could be dome one of the following.
- Not Turning on all of the time. If this is happening please check that the power cable is secure at the back of the monitor, and that it is also secure at the power bar. If t is secure at both sides and still having power issues it may need to be fixed or replaced.
-Screen appears broken up, or has lines running through it. If this is happening please check the video cable attached to the back of the monitor and make sure it is firmly seated at the monitor and at the computer. If the connections are secure and you are able please attach this monitor to a different computer. If the issue persists it is the monitor if it goes away it may be the cable or the computer.
- Screen is blurry. Check to make sure that the video cable is seated firmly at the computer and the monitor connections. Also verify that you have not done any changes to the monitors resolution.
Monitor will not turn on.
