My Mouse and or Keyboard are not working
Yes we have all sat down at our desk, and the Mouse and or Keyboard will not work. What do you do?
Well besides the obvious of running for the hills and living in a commune you could try a bit of troubleshooting.
1. Are they plugged in? Yes check this and if they are wireless check that the dongle is plugged in and not broken.
2. If they are plugged in but still not working, try a new USB port. Also the action of unplugging and replugging the device in can allow it start working.
3. If they are wireless make sure the battery is not dead. Yes batteries do die. You learn something new everyday.
4. Restart the computer. Yes please do this if all else fails. Then place a ticket.
