Outlook Troubleshooting
If you are having issues with Outlook loading, shutting down, running slow. Please do the following before entering a ticket.
- Press your Windows Key. It is the key on the lower left-hand side of the keyboard wit the windows icon on it.
- Type in Outlook.exe /safe.
- Select your user profile when prompted by Outlook.
- Use Outlook once it is loaded.
The reason we are doing this is that Outlook just does not load Outlook, but also a few other programs that allow it too connect to your Social Media sites, Bing, Maps, etc... This process allows us to start Outlook without any of these programs. If you find that Outlook is now running better put this information in the ticket and then IT can try to find out what Outlook add on was the culprit.
