Setting up Email Signatures with Outlook

Creation date: 4/4/2019 6:52 PM    Updated: 4/4/2019 6:56 PM    email signature new email signature signature
I have recently worked with a few people about this issue and feel that an article is in order.

All of the hotels have mandatory email signatures, and you need to know how to set them up.  The instructions below should get you going quite fast.

1. Start Outlook
2. Press the File  tab on the top ribbon.  It will be at the top left corner of the screen.  You will be taken to a new screen.
3. Scroll down the left side of the new screen till you see Options. Press the Options button.  You will see a box open in the middle of the screen that says Outlook Options at the very top of it.
4. On the left side of the box you will see the word Mail.  Please click the word, and the box to the right will change its contents.
5. This box is divided into sections.  the first section is called Compose Messages.  The Signatures option is the third one down in this section.  Please click the Signatures button.
6. The next box is very self explanatory.  You have a section to create new signatures, and options to select the email address used, and if you want the signature on New Messages, Replies\Forwards or both.  It is your choice.
7. Once you are done press Ok to save your settings and leave.

'Please note that if you use the online version of Outlook (OWA) and try to configure your email signature you may receive an error when trying to add an image and the signature will not save.'

I hope this helps.
