Moneris Gateway Restart
After a power outage or server restart, SqGateway must be restarted for credit cards to work.

If there's a power outage — or the Squirrel server is restarted for any reason — the SqGateway service must be restarted so the Moneris payment terminals can talk to the Squirrel server again. Until it's running, credit card processing through Moneris is down.

Run a test credit card transaction on a Moneris terminal after restarting the service. If it still fails, contact Squirrel Support (supervisors/managers) and submit an IT ticket.
